Local Mission

At one1seven church, we want to see people come to Christ and continue to grow in the Christian life. Here's how we're encouraging each other at one1seven church, and reaching out to our local community:

The women of one1seven are currently meeting once a month and catching up online to discuss what it means to be a woman of God in today's world. It's a time to study God's word, share experiences, to ask questions and pray about womanhood and Christianity.

We're encouraging the children at one1seven church to get to know Jesus. Every Sunday of the school term, children are invited to join our kid's church - the one1seven God Squad - to sing songs, play games and hear bible stories that teach them about who Jesus is and how much God loves them.

The one1seven church Youth Group meets on Fridays in the Redfern Centre (behind the one1seven church building), at 5pm during school term. It's a great place for school students in Years 6 and 7 to meet together, learn about Jesus and have a great time. For more information, contact Tim Johnson.

one4food

In 2011, one1seven church started a Friday Food Ministry, one4food, to reach out to the disadvantaged Redfern community by providing a Friday meal and an opportunity to develop relationships with each other and our gracious provider God.
